Due to the fact that my gym closed down permanently with no warning I wasn't able to reach my goal resistance level.
I'm truly bummed, I reached level 15 then I got sick so that slowed me down then I found out that the gym was closing permanently. Ouch!
So right now I'm going hiking, to make up for lost gym time.
But I'm definitely looking to purchase an elliptical I want to find a used elliptical machine.
Hopefully I will luck on craigslist, we will see. I certainly can't afford to pay 700dollars for a brand new one.
My husband thinks I'm nuts, but I figure if I can't make it out hiking sometimes then I could use the elliptical while my daughter took naps or something. But trust me. Hiking is number one! It has always been a great work out for me.

My Plan B in exercising since my gym closed down...
I am truly bummed the gym I went to closed down permanently last friday. I can't finish my elliptical challenge and better yet I need to find another way to exercise.
So this is my plan B.
Hiking!! Oh yeah! This is something I absolutely love to do. I used to do before I got pregnant, and my feet swelled up so bad I couldn't fit into my athletic shoes.
My main thing now is my husband starts his new job, I need to find a babysitter for my little girl while I go hiking, or learn how to carry her in a hiking pack. Oh that would be interesting.
People may look at me and think she can't hike those trails. I may not be a model shape, but I have a lot of muscle underneath all that fat so I can go for awhile. I might be slower than the rest of the hikers on that mountain but a 3 mile hike wont stop me, for sure.
I'm also going to get free pass to another gym and try that. Although it will cost more than I am paying now per month at my recently closed gym. Oh well. I gotta doo something to lose weight.
